Baristas assist customers in all areas of the market though their work focuses on greeting guests, answering questions over the phone and in person, serving gelato and making coffee drinks, ringing up sales and bagging purchases, stocking, cleaning, and more. 

Qualities of the ideal Barista include:
• a passion for great food and drink
• learns quickly
• maintains positive attitude and team spirit
• demonstrates commitment to exceptional front-line customer service
• prior retail, food service, or culinary experience is a plus but not required

Enoteca Staff work in the Goose's beer and wine cellar. Work includes a combination of retail sales (beer, wine, and dry goods) plus table-side service of drinks and small plates. Stocking, working the cash register, and assembling ready-to-eat dishes are also part of this position's diverse responsibilities. Prior experience serving and working with beer and wine in a professional setting is beneficial. Applicants must already have or be willing and able to get the alcohol serving permits required by the state. Compensation includes competitive hourly retail salary PLUS tips at guests' discretion. Availability to work Fridays and Saturdays is required.

Qualities of the ideal Enoteca Staff person include:
• a people person with a passion for sharing great food and drink
• a self-starter who can prioritize tasks and accomplish them independently and reliably
• able to multitask and provide excellent customer service 
• learns quick and maintains a positive attitude


Meat Mongers assist customers in all areas of the market though their work focuses on 18 feet of meat: our fresh meat case's tempting display of poultry, pork, beef, game, sausages, smoked meats and more.

Cheese Mongers assist customers in all areas of the market though their work focuses on an ever-changing selection of farmstead cheeses from near and far as well as accompanying salumi and cured meats.

Monger work includes:
• greet guests and receive orders
• sharing with customers the tempting details of a quickly rotating selection of products
• cut and package orders
 make sandwiches and cheese and charcuterie boards
• maintain organization and cleanliness
• plus more!
